This is the scene where Billy finds out that Costello has a spy in the investigation unit, as well as meeting Madolyn for the first time. The movie is starring Leonardo Dicaprio, Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Alec Baldwin, Mark Wahlberg and Martin Sheen, and dierected by Martin Scorsese. The song is called ''Billy's theme'' I do not own any rights to this movie, this clip or this song.

Great music. Worst acting in history. Leo wants to sell a movie to audience with overacting , rather than making the audience to feel the seriousness of the situation ,using words he wants to pretend to be serious.
I think he portrays reality. It was a tough situation his character was in
@@tluci i disagree that he portrays the reality. Let's assume that his character is in a tough situation. 1 who forced him to do this ? No one. He needed a philosophy or ideology or something to believe in to put himself in this situation and work as an undercover. 2 he is attempting to talk rationally which means he is not emotionally overwhelmed by the situation. And he does not convey nor transmit the seriousness of the dilemma or conflict or situation which he is trapped into. Thus clearly he is overacting .

This WAS THE MOVIE that made me recognize DiCaprio’s acting chops (and weirdly enough, the Academy RECOGNIZED HIM that year with an Oscar nomination but it WASN’T FOR THIS MOVIE).

The Departed has only grown on me over the years and especially the triangle of trust and betrayal between Frank, Billy and Sullivan and the relationship between Billy and Dignam and Queenan. Three men doing everything they can to deceive the other and three loyal to no one except each other. There's alot to chew on.
